My Levitation Experiences

Filed under: Reflections — ktismatics @ 8:03 am

When I fly in my dreams, usually I flap my arms rather than gliding through the air. Lately though I’ve just been levitating. Sometimes it doesn’t work very well: I have to concentrate very hard, lift an arm or a leg off the ground, nearly will myself into the air. That effort gets me up only a foot or so and for only a few seconds before I sink back down again. At other times I just pop right up there, hovering at the ceiling or high in the sky, to the astonishment of onlookers. In these successful levitations I am able to concentrate my attention on my body in such a way that it just seems to release itself from gravitational constraints. I enjoy it.

  1. This points to ejaculation dysfunction, although it could also be a disturbance of ejaculation rhythm.

I have to think about this.

  3. LOL. I think there is a such thing as ‘ejaculation dysfunction’,. but not necessarily ‘disturbances of ejaculation rhythm’, which tends to be arhythmic–fits and starts of the spurts– and varies a lot according to supply (dependent on length of immediate buildup or how long since last ejaculation, the latter of which will always give a heavy load, and former which will if the vigour is there even after a day-ago orgasm.) Of course, fornication allows for more uncertainty in the rhythm, whereas self-pollution can control even this (that was quite intertextual on the self-pollution, you know.)

I never thought about the arm-flapping in dreams, mainly because I’ve never had that in a flying dream. I think mine are kinds of levitation, although there is some zooming forward and up. I’m usually surprised within the dream when I can go highest and make them last a long time. They’re all refreshing to wake up from, though.

The astronauts in that story go through periods which are like being able to fly in dreams and then being more water-logged, as it were. I’m sure you’ll recognize the passage, it has to do with confidence and sense of power.

  4. What gave me the sense of a disturbance in rhythm is that ”he just pops up there, hovering at the ceiling”, surprising himself, as if unable to predict the dispersal of the ejaculate.

Now excuse me I have to work on a certain comic book…

  5. This morning I received notice from WordPress that “getridofmoobs” is now following my blog from Kuala Lumpur. I spammed a comment from this person a few days ago, not realizing at the time that it was a fan letter.
