  4. I wonder if there’s an implicit racist theme here, DS, with the stupid fertile minorities taking over the white-controlled first world. Maybe not — Judge’s dystopic future doesn’t look to be any less white than the dystopic present, and after all, Judge created the animated show Beavis and Butthead, both of whom were very white and very stupid. Still, I get that feeling… I’m currently reading Disgrace by Coetzee, which is more explicit about this sort of white paranoia.

  5. i didn’t really get a sense that it was racist. In truth i watched it with my pc on my lap while doing other things online…so maybe i missed something.

  6. It wasn’t racist, lame. The movie when you watch it you think, “meh”. Then you go outside the next day, and realize that society has gone a lot farther towards Idiocracy than you would like to admit.
