In Transit

Our internet connection is gone as we prepare for American re-entry. So it’ll be catch as catch can for awhile on Ktismatics. Feel free to unfasten your seat belts, stroll around the aircraft, chat amongst yourselves…

I might suggest that we are all “in transit.”

Erdman…get it “straight”…you’re a “Tornado”…not a performer. Lol. And your name is not “Erdman.” Its Erdmnaian Tornado. Derrida is Cubism “rounded off” to the next generation. Thank you very much; you guys were great. My name is Hesiak, and I’ll be here all week.

“Hey, son, I might have a slighly high voice, but keep your comments to yourself. I WILL throw you OFF this plane! As for your question…our supply is limited to Wild Turkey and moonshine.”

Have we landed yet? Anybody got any Wild Turkey? I need something to get this sleep-breath out of my mouth. Johnathan, next time just push me away. I sleep kind of heavy…don’t really realize what I’m doing.

Boy, that was a long flight! On arrival in Colorado, what awaits the Doyle family? What has the Doyle got cooking for the Ktismatics family?

    We await with bated breath…

  10. Indeed.

I shamelessly through myself at Doyle and confess that I await his weighing in on some of the discussions at Theos Project.

Hey, any thoughts on if Ktismatics becomes more liberal now that it is relocating to Boulder, CO????

    Jon

Do you mean ‘liberal’ politically, theologically, economically or philosophically?

That Uni was noted for its liberality but now may be more middle of the road, tho generalisations like that r prbly meaningless.

My family is awaiting our house to get sold. We’ve seen houses in Nijmegen, the city that I’ve been talking about.
I hope the transition goes smoothly for all 3.

John, I finally digested some of what your last few posts have to say and it is exciting. Can’t wait to see you literally put it into Practice!

I’m back online. Manhattan is a spectacular place to walk around. We flew back into Denver on the hottest June 24th on record — 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 centigrade). Trying to reacclimate, unpack, etc. Today’s first foray: emissions testing for the new (used) car. On the agenda for this afternoon: opening an American bank account and getting license plates. Some fun.

My sister was an au-pair in Manhattan. Glad to hear you’re having fun. These things, opening an account and alike are great real life learning experiences for children. Especially when something goes wrong.

Did your sister like New York?

We had fun telling the banker little-known differences between American and French culture. For example, the American number 5,000.00 is written 5.000,00 in France. As our prize for opening a new account we received a complimentary cooler from the bank.
